How To Play A Phoney

I gained 132 rating points in my last tourney going 13-0. It was tough my key to success- suprisingly PHONEYS. I played 22 phonies in a 13 game tournament, I never got challenged on a bad word! I am not saying I encourage the play of phoneys I'm saying that there is a lot of players especially when you move up in ratings there are more and more players who will challenge, so you should know how to play one. I've broken it down to easy steps to follow.
1. Find the phoney or word you're not sure about.
2. Place it down carefully like any other common word. Be careful not to look at your opponent or to say ANYTHING.
3. Count score normally say score calm as possible
4. When your opponent holds, either sit there staring at the phoney word, or better yet if you have a good poker face stare at him/her.
5. If you get away with it good, but if you don't try to work harder at these steps.
6. If you don't have a good poker face or can't play it without speaking don't try these steps come up with your own if you have to.
Note, if for some reason the play IS good pretend like you knew that and it was obvious to make it easier to play phoneys in the future.
